Broomstick Concerto
Pretty frustrating film. I'm not particulary proud of it, but hey, what the hell, it helped me learn. A lot (just take the number of mistakes into account, I feel embarased!) I had two hours to shoot this piece. And all went worng (except for yhe pianist scene). Most of the people I showed it to couldn't even get the story. Plus, the Lamp Guy: dude was drunk. Heavily! And I just couldn't get to do the shots were I wanted to. The flick did grant me a good grade in college. I just hope I do better next time. A five-year-old could do this ! Honestly. See it for yourselves. By the way, the story's something like this. There's a concert in a piano bar somewhere (pretty sleezy huh?) and the pianist comes thinking that she's late. She sits down, but then she realizes that she hasno audience. She storms out of the building. A little time later the audience comes in. Everybody's wondering where the artist is and the Lamp Guy (I call him the Lam Guy because he's always doing something with the lamps, couldn't get a better name, sorry 'bout that folks), who also happens to be the proprietor of that particular place (still sleezy huh?) turns to one of the spectators and he points to the janitor, who had just come in to clean the "stage". Everybody claps, the janitor doesn't care, people stare at each other, bla bla bla, end of story, don't miss the next episode :)!
